VCU Catholic Campus ministry lifts up musical talent for the glory of God.

11:15 Ricochet Raas – plaza
This dance team represented VCU at the National Championships last year. Raas is a traditional dance form of India, and is performed with intricate steps and music, giving this fork art and a modern twist.

11:30 VCU Vietnamese Student Association – plaza
Traditional dance and culture of Vietnam

12:00 Kultura Pilipino – plaza
Promotes Filipino Culture and Traditions through the performance of traditional arts, dances, language and songs.

1:15 Organ Daniel Sanez – Cathedral Sanctuary

1:15 VCU Thandavan – Plaza
The only Indian Classical dance team at VCU, these dances depict both ancient Indian mythology as well as important present-day social conflicts. This performance will exhibit traditional choreography in the bharatanatyam and kuchipudi styles.

1:45 VCU Lion Dance – Plaza
According to traditional Chinese belief, the lion signifies courage, stability and superiority. This team won the East Coast Championships in 2015 and will host the competition here in Richmond in 2016. 

2:30 Cuban Brass – Cathedral Sanctuary

3:45 Richmond Pilipino Class – plaza
Youth from the Pilipino Class based at Our Lady of Lourdes parish will perform the Tinikling tradition of the Philippines.

Premier a cappella vocal ensemble of VCU perform a variety of musical genres.
